Review: Taylormade R9 Supertri

I initially demo'ed the TM R9 Supertri at Drummonds a few weeks ago. It was immediately noticeable that this club has a very hot face. The ball just exploded off the clubface and launched with a penetrating trajectory. For my swing Golf Sale Online, the R9 with Fujikura Motore Used Golf Site, Regular flex fitted perfectly. This was the first Taylormade that I was able to hit. Within a very short time Golf Store, the club gave me a lot of confidence at address. With a traditional shape and simple graphics, the clubhead was very pleasing to the eye. At the range, I was able to have an extended test session with a friend's R9. This is a very forgiving club, whose flight is also very controllable. That session sealed the deal. I ordered one for myself later that evening. This weeked will be the first time it will be taken into play. Any extra length off the tee will be either confirmed or debunked! Is anyone else using this club? Whats your experience with the club so far?Golf is all about the long game..

Gotem - New Irons Fusion FT (50% off @ Golf Box)

SO went out to golf box in Balcatta and spoke to my mates Pro Friend. Walked out $1100 poorer but an owner of a new set of Callaway Fusion FT irons Golf Reviews, 4-SW.Not a bad price i think.I was tossing up between them and the TaylorMade R9's. The R9's felt crisp Golf Equipment Shop, but the package with the FT's was just that much better. Corded grips standard Golf Drivers Blog, better shafts, slimmer profile. Just loved them.cant wait to get them. just waiting for fitting. These are 1 1/4 longer than my current set, so pro gave me free 2nd fitting in 2 months to check lie angels again when my swing adapts to new length club :)why is golf called golf.. all the other 4 letter words were taken.

Best iphone GPS app

Just as a courtesy for anyone looking to buy a golf GPS app for there iphone.I downloaded the app View Ti Golf (The $29.99 version Used Golf, there are a few other versions at varying prices) about 2 months ago. It is fantastic. I arrived at Pymble for a round today and the course was already mapped. I play at Twin Creeks (mapped) and requested Massey Park to be mapped as I live nearby. This took them about a week. I have played approx 4 other courses within the 2 months between Syd and Newcastle and they've all been there. The program gives you a satellite image of the hole as mapped via google maps. You can zoom in on the greens and also zoom out to see the full hole. Distance is very accurate as I measured against another guy today with his SureShot. You can also drag your finger to any point on the hole and get a distance which is handy for bunkers Golf Sale Blog, dog legs Golf Clubs Site, waterways etc.If anyone else has any feedback I'd love to hear.Cheers

Driver Trouble

Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me with driver issueswell besides the fact i cant consistantly hit overly well with a driver Golf Equipment, I own a titliest 8.5 loft stiff shaft driver (which came with my 2nd hand set) i was having minor dramas hitting that to the slice side Golf Sale Site, (the slice did improve a bit with my swing) but i asked my coach and he recommended i get a new driver 10.5 loft Golf News Shop, because it will be more forgiving, which brings me to my story.i went to my local golf shop and the guy recommended me this WILSON STAFF SPINE regular flex 10.5 deg loft, he said its the most beginner user friendly driver, so after reading all the reviews online i went to get 1, they had a second hand 1 in the shop so i bought it, ever since the day i bought it i have not been ale to hit it at all, maybe 1 out of 18 tee shots it will go fairly straight but still a heavy slice, even this guy that seen me hit said it seems i have a natural slice, (which i dont think i do).... anyway i went to the driving range today and took both my drivers, i seemed to hit 6 out of 10 straight with my old 8.5 deg then straight after hitting 3 in a row dead straight i grabbed the SPINE 10.5 deg and hit 5 balls not 1 went straight i did this till all my balls were gone and i just figured the Wilson Spine driver was not for me!So i am unsure weather or not its the stiff shaft that suits me?? Or maybe the wilson Spine driver just doesnt suit my swing! i am sure i did everything the same in my swing with both clubs?Sorry for the long life story but i cant get in to my coach for a few weeks and i want to try to sort out if i need a new driver?

New Golf Shoes, Blisters, What to do?

So last Saturday I went down to get some rain gear and my first pair of golf shoes. I ended up with a pair of Oakley Prime Tyes. I did not go in with a budget in mind Golf Sale, but these seemed to fit in the store and I have never had heel/blistering before in sneaker type shoes.I need a shoe that I can use 3 times a week (2x3-4 hours during week and 1x5hours on weekend). So my question is Golf Blog, do or can golf shoes settle down and stop blistering should I give them a month or so? Or Golf News Shop, do I really just need to spend another large load of cash and get another pair?Should I expect that golf shoes would play 18 walking holes straight out of the box?I certainly did not get the cheapest pair, so I am rather disappointed that they caused blistering but perhaps I did not spend enough time checking them out in store :(...... An expensive lesson.

Mizuno help needed

Now I need a little help here. I played blades all my life and then took a short break from golf for about 10 years Golf Irons Blog, but I'm back playing now and again Golf Sale Blog, hopefully more often in the near future. I decided I needed some new clubs when I returned to playing and was advised to buy X-20s by Drummonds (I know New Golf Sale, I know). I suspect they aren't quite right for me.I need one of the many Mizuno fans out there to give me a quick summary of what irons they make and what type of player they would suit . They seem to have a lot of irons and I have checked their website but they only appear to have the current models (I was thinking I might even go for a set a couple of years old from someone like 3balls initially). Websites can also be a bit flowery in their language at times too.Any help would be most appreciated.golflink.com.au/...

Budget GPS

Hi All Golf News Shop,Went to Eagle Ridge other day Golf Reviews, they gave us a Garmin GPS with every cart Discount Golf, it was one of those very simple ones, I want to get a cheap GPS but one that I don't have to pay an annual fee for, with a bit of research it seems only Sonocaddy and skygolf provides this.So here are my questions:Are there any other GPS out there that doesn't have annual payment? And can someone recommend me a budget GPS?Can someone with first hand experience give me some reviews on Sonocaddie SV2, Skycaddie SG2.5 GPS?I am thinking of getting them from Rockbottomgolf.

UST putter shaft

Has anyone got Golf For Sale, or tried Golf Clubs Store, a putter with a UST frequency filtered putter shaft in it? As a HOPELESS equipment junkie Free Golf Sale, I feel the burning need to have a golf product with carbon fibre on the handle!! In all seriousness though, I am looking to reshaft a nice little 350g, black oxide, tungsten heel and toe weighted, circle t napa I happen to have in my undeserving grubby little mitts. Are the shafts worth all the hype? What a bunch of sad, impotent LOSERS they are that run this site. Can dish it out, but can't take it back. There there, don't cry little purple circle members. Pathetic, spineless and gutless. Sums u all up.My big hairy balls in all your mouths.

My machspeed irons

After all the rain in NSW i finally got to try out my Nike machspeed irons today friggin amazing!! Easy-as to launch Golf Equipment Show, nice high flight and almost impossible for even me to slice. First time I've had an AW/GW (whichever you call it) New Golf Irons, what a difference it makes not having to hit a 3/4 PW Golf Clubs Store, which still flies over the green.Nike VR STR8-FIT Driver 10.5`Nike VR STR8-FIT 3 Wood 15`Nike VR STR8-FIT 5 Wood 19`Nike VR Hybrid 21`Nike VR TW Forged Irons 4-PWTitleist Vokey Wedges 52` and 56`Odyssey White Ice #1 PutterTaylorMade Penta TP / Titleist Pro V1 Ball

Reshafting Callaway FT Irons or similar

Hi there all Golf News Shop, this is my first new topic' Discount Golf, so please be kind. I have a set of Callaway FT irons that have standard flex graphite shafts in them and was recently told by my local pro that I would increase my accuracy in my hitting if I changed to steel shafts due to steel shafts being less prone to torquing during contact with the ball.I dropped into my local Drummond Golf today to enquire about the cost involved with having the clubs reshafted Golfing, and was told that Callaway irons, and in particular FT irons are difficult to reshaft and will most likely need to be sent back to Callaway to be reshafted. Can anyone confirm or (hopefully) deny this, as I was hoping to pick up a set of pullout shafts or the likes and get them put into my irons.Or has anyone had any experience regarding shaft torque in steel vs graphite shafts? Thanks!Steve

Club fitting - Drummond and all retailers are a Joke!

I am a firm believer in being fitted for your clubs -makes sense right? The right clubs for your swing means buying the right clubs for your swing. Not rocket science.I had a Trackman fitting done today after a Titleist fitting (by Titleist) last week. I was told by both good ball flight with a slight fade. Not Drummonds oh no terrible ball launch angle and lousy ball flight.Trackman is the same system used by the PGA tour for their players. It measures Golf Drivers Blog, amongst other things using missile tracking technology Golf Drivers Shop, everything. Launch angles Golf Blog, head angles, head speed, ball and head tragectory, landing angles, carry and rolls plus plus plus.. You get the idea. $40K of technology.I hit from the same tee in the same session a driver (same Brand) with the dimensions recommended by Trackman and smoked it 45 metres further and straight down the middle. So why the hell would Drummmonds sell me a driver not even close to my requirements two months ago I would've bought whatever. They advertise $2K of fitting technology come and be fitted by Drummonds. You are cheats and liars. Scum of the earth. Bloody appalling. Drummonds North Paramatta in Sydney. You should be ashamed. To make a sale? Why wouldn't they sell me what I actually needed? Let's see what our Fair Trading laws have to say about these guys. Brett Ogle et al watch us coming to get you.10.5 Titleist with a low kick-point Dimanna Blue shaft using your pathetic vector system when it should have been 9.0 or less with a high kickpoint shaft. Frauds! Nothing less. Frauds. Its cost me 3 handicap points and $600 not my swing but the bloody Drummond sold club. Both Titleist and Trackman had me hitting off grass. You can't be fitted without the fitter seeing your divots and complete ball flight. If your fitter doesn't have you hitting off grass then don't bother.Don't buy from Drummonds or any of them. They don't know and they don't care. Talk to your local PGA pro with a Trackman. If they don't have Trackman then don't bother. You might as well have your partner wander in and buy the colour club that they like and give it you for a present their fitting systems are a joke.An advertisement for trackman? No it isn't but it should be. Mike from Trackman was more embarrassed about my drives than I was. I'll never buy anything from a scum bag retailer again not even a tee. FFS FU.Contact me if you want a nearly new Titleist 10.5 909 D2 Diamana Blue Stiff Stand length. :-) Good thing golf is such a relaxing pastime!
